The design of this bag was born out of necessity for my day job. As someone who's constantly climbing aboard boats to do canvas work, I need a utility bag to carry all my tools and equipment. Plus it doubles as a great travel bag, fishing bag, or camera bag!
This bag's name is a nod to the Coho Silver Salmon that swim in the coastal waters here in the Pacific Northwest. Before spawning upstream, Coho have speckled backs, silver sides with white bellies. If you look closely at natural canvas, you'll notice little black speckles in the weave. These are the cotton seeds and they've always reminded me of the speckled backs on salmon.
