Made in USA Baseball Gloves: Production Updates, New Web Options, and One-of-One Drops

If you’ve been following along, you know this journey of building made in USA baseball gloves from the ground up has been equal parts exciting and demanding. This past stretch has been a big one. Between hitting production milestones, sourcing premium materials, and experimenting with new designs, there’s a lot happening behind the scenes.

To keep things more transparent and bring you closer to the process, I’m planning to start sharing updates more regularly, most likely on a bi-monthly basis. There’s a lot that goes on behind the scenes when building made in USA baseball gloves, and these posts will be a way to document that journey in real time. With it being April 1st, it felt like the perfect day to kick off that routine and set the tone for more consistent updates moving forward.

12.75” Saguaro Outfield Glove – Fully Funded 🎉

The biggest update: the 12.75” Saguaro Outfield glove has officially reached the minimum order quantity needed to move forward with clicker dies.

For those who care about how gloves are truly made, clicker dies are a huge step. They allow for consistent, repeatable cuts of leather. This something that’s essential when scaling handmade baseball gloves without sacrificing quality.

Right now, I’ve got multiple estimates out with different clicker die manufacturers. These range from small, family-run shops to some of the larger names in the leatherworking space. Over the next few days, I’ll be locking in a partner and announcing who I’ll be working with.

Horween Ball Glove X Leather Incoming

Material sourcing is always one of the most critical parts of making high-quality, American-made baseball gloves.

I’ve had Horween Ball Glove X in tan on order for about a month now, and according to my rep, it should be arriving any day. Once it lands, I’ll have a few hundred square feet to work with, likely within the next couple of weeks.

If you know Horween, you know why this matters. Their leather is known for durability, structure, and that unmistakable feel that only gets better with time. It’s a cornerstone of what makes a premium, made in USA glove stand out.

New Web Option: Post / Modified Trap

After launching this new web style in collaboration with Just Glove, the response has been strong—especially from players asking for more customization.

Because of the demand, I’m now officially offering a Post / Modified Trap web option for the Tan Horween Desert Forge 11.5” model.

This is a big step in expanding customization options while still staying true to small-batch, handmade production. Every design choice is intentional, and this web gives players another functional and visual option—especially for those who want something a little different without sacrificing performance.

One-of-One Glove Drop

I’ve also got something special available: a true one-of-one glove in this new web style.

Balancing production with everything else going on has been a challenge lately, but I’m making an effort to carve out time for small, unique drops like this. Each one is a chance to experiment and push details a bit further.

This particular glove features:

  • A black hand stall and edge binding (not part of my standard lineup)
  • A hidden Horween stamp on the back side of the thumb
  • A subtle detail you’d never see unless you really looked for it

Those small touches are what make handmade gloves different. They’re not just tools—they carry character.

What’s Next

With clicker dies getting finalized and Horween leather on the way, things are lining up for the next phase of production.

The goal remains the same: build high-quality, made in USA baseball gloves that prioritize craftsmanship, materials, and individuality over mass production.

More updates soon—especially once materials land and production ramps up.
